Admission form and Prospectus
Candidates seeking admission to the University in any degree programme of any college may submit online application form from the University website i.e. http://hau.ernet.in against payment of ` 1000/- (` 250/- for SC/BC/ Special Backward Classes / Economically backward Persons in the General castes) per admission form to be deposited in concerned account. Candidates applying for B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 6-year programme and B.Sc. (Hons.) Home Science 6 year programme will have the option to apply through on-line as well as off-line. Prospectus shall be available on university website i.e. http://hau.ernet.in

For Candidates applying for B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 6-year programme and B.Sc. (Hons.) Home Science 6 year programme the Prospectus shall also be on sale in Room No. 202, Academic Branch, Fletcher Bhawan, CCSHAU, Hisar against payment of Rs. 1000/- for General Category and Rs. 250/- for SC/BC/SBC/EBPG Category

The admission procedure involves the following: 
(i) Submission of all original documents and verification at the time of 1st Counselling fixed for them.
(ii) Depositing the fee.
(iii) Medical examination.
 (iv) Registration on due date. Admission procedure will be completed only after registration for the programme on the dates notified.
 Presence of candidates Presence of the candidate is must for the following events failing which the admission shall be treated as cancelled. Fees and dues deposited shall stand forfeited and the seat considered vacant and filled up as per rules.
 (i) 1st and 2nd day/time (both days/time) of Counselling and admission dates and time as indicated in (Annexure-II).
 (ii) On the date fixed for filling of vacant seats, if interested to be considered for admission as per rule 5.1 (page 15).
 (iii) Medical examination
 (iv) On the date for registration (Annexure-II) or as mentioned in the admission order.

Submission of result (of qualifying exam)
(i) Prescribed admission form should be submitted by the candidate by the due date.
 (ii) Result be submitted at the time of Counselling to the Admission Committee.
(iii) In case due to certain reasons the result of a particular candidate is not declared alongwith general results he/she shall have no claim for admission if his/her result is declared after the date of 1st Counselling/verification of documents.

Self attested copies of the following documents are required to be attached with admission form: 
a) For all candidates
i) Matric Certificate with Date of Birth and Father’s name.
ii) Haryana Resident Certificate (HRC) (Annexure-V) as per instructions issued by the Chief Secretary to Govt. Haryana vide letter No. 22/28/2003 3GS III dated 30.1.2004
iii) Character Certificate (CC) from the institute last attended. The candidates who have passed qualifying examination earlier and there is gap of more than one year (other than the pursuit of studies in an institution/college) shall give an affidavit duly attested by Public Notary/Notary regarding their non-enrolment in any institution.

Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination as private candidate may submit their affidavit of Character Certificate duly attested by the Public Notary/Notary.
One clear recent coloured photograph be pasted on admission form for B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 6-year programme. The photo on admission form be attested by Gazetted Officer/Principal of School. Selected candidates are required to submit another attested copy of same photograph at the time of registration. Attestation of photographs should not be on the face of the candidate.

For candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. (Hons.)Ag. 4-year and B.Sc.(Hons.) Home Science 4- year programme. In addition to certificates listed at (a) above, 10+2 or equivalent certificate.

No certificate in original should be sent alongwith admission form. Only self attested copies should be attached. However, at the time of Counselling all the original certificates should be produced. 

No correspondence with regard to return/loaning of copy of certificates added with the admission form will be entertained. 10. Admission to all the programmes will be made on merit. Merit will be determined as under: Part-A Undergraduate Programmes B.Sc.(Hons.)Ag. 4- year programme. Merit as determined in the Entrance Test (ET).   For Haryana Residents Seats

B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 6-year Programme Merit as determined in the Entrance Test (ET).
 B.Sc. (Hons.) Home Science 4- year and B. Sc. (Hons.) Home Science 6-year programme On merit of the aggregate marks obtained at the level of educational requirements as laid down in Rule 19(4), 19(5). Other rules as applicable to undergraduate programmes shall be equally applicable to the candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) Home Science programme
